Thickness Range: – 10 mm – 150 mm.
Application:
Our panels are required where reasonable corrosion protection and weathering uniqueness are essential. Our Panels can be used in many challenging environments like oil refineries, Paper Mills, mining operations, Wastewater facilities, Fertilizer Plants. The panels provide free light in working environment in day timing which save energy and money for the organization.
Operating Temperature
30 C to + 75 C
Cut Length:
We can supply any length subject to shipping limitation. Generally we offer maximum 16 m length.
Specification
- Panels are produced by a continuous laminating process up to required length.
- The panels meet up the standard ASTM D3841 requirements.
- Tolerance shall be considered on the specified weight of panels +/- 10 %, unless any other specified.
Tolerance for Squareness, Length & Width.
Panel Lengths: up to 5m long, -0, +10mm
Sheets over 5m long, -0, +15mm
Width: +- 5mm
Squareness: the variation shall be not extra than 0.5mm in each 100mm of width within the sheet tolerance.
Assembly of the skylights
The holes should be drilled at least 1.5 times the diameter of the screw with a Rubber Washer so that it can allow the natural linear thermal expansion of the sheet.
The Skylight sheets will be screwed to purlins with fasteners it should not exceed 200mm centers.
Mastic or Vinyl Lap seal shoul be utilized between when fastening to steel.
Roof light Load Span
Load / Span calculation are wide-ranging according to the necessary profile details of the clients.
The deflection limitations are calculated as follow:
- Downward pressure loading deflection should not exceed 1/30 + h of the span and should not be more than 50mm.
- Suction uplift loading deflection should not exceed 1/15th of the span and should not be more than 100mm.
- Roofs are unsafe places to work and it is suggested that the following information be integrated In the” Health & Safety file”
- No individual should have right of entry to roof except the direct supervision of an experienced roofer
- Who should be amply knowledgeable to assess any risks and take the necessary action to reduce such Risks.
